Public Housing

Public Housing was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families with children, elderly, disabled, or single persons. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administers Federal aid to local housing agencies (HAs) that manage the communities for low-income residents at rents they can afford. Security deposits and utility deposits are the sole responsibility of the applicants.

Section 8 New Construction

Section 8 New Construction was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families with children, elderly, disabled, or single persons. Security deposits and utility deposits are the sole responsibility of the applicants.

Communities for Section 8 New Construction are:

• Hudson Hills Manor

USDA Rural Development

USDA Rural Development was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families with children, elderly, disabled, or single persons. USDA Rural Development administers Federal aid to agencies that manage the communities for low-income residents at rents they can afford. Preferences are given to holders of Letters of Priority Entitlement issued by USDA Rural. All other applications are handled by date and time.
